RoleShift is a United Kingdom based service, operated as an early-stage business that has not yet begun trading. It is not currently a registered company. Full trading disclosures, including the proprietor's name and an address for service, will be published on this page before any paid services commence, as UK business-name rules require.
The contact page reaches the founder directly.
The RoleShift name, site design, and original content including the guides are the property of the site's operator. You are welcome to link to any page. Republishing substantial parts of the guides needs permission first.
Apprenticeship adverts are sourced from Find an apprenticeship via the Department for Education's Display Advert API and contain public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Adverts remain the responsibility of the employers who published them.
Employer names and trade marks appearing in adverts belong to their owners; their appearance does not imply any endorsement of RoleShift. Company names used in illustrative material, such as the employer demo, are fictional.
RoleShift will never email asking for payment details, passwords, or personal documents. The only legitimate RoleShift addresses end in roleshift.co.uk, and employer sign-in links arrive only when you request one on the sign-in page. Real employers never charge candidates to apply. If a message claiming to be RoleShift or a listed employer feels wrong, do not click it; forward it via the contact page and we will confirm or warn quickly.
The site is built keyboard-first with structured headings, contrast-minded colours, reduced-motion support and no flashing content, and accessibility reports go to the top of the fix list. The full accessibility statement covers what is in place and its honest limits.
The rules are published and testable rather than claimed: every employer advert passes five public tests before going live, nothing on the site is sold placement, every statistic is sourced and dated, imported adverts are always labelled with where they came from, the assistant is disclosed as automated and built not to invent, and there are no dark patterns: no fake urgency, no countdown timers, no invented scarcity.
If an advert is misleading, discriminatory, closed early, or otherwise wrong, report it through the contact page with the advert link. Checked-board adverts are our responsibility and get reviewed against the tests; directory adverts are shown as published on the government service, and we can remove them from RoleShift while the source is corrected.
If you find a security weakness in the site, tell us privately through the contact page before disclosing it anywhere public, and give us reasonable time to fix it. Good-faith reports are welcomed, never punished.
Use of the site is covered by the terms and the privacy policy. This page is a plain-language summary of who runs the site and is not legal advice.
